Alex has worked for Wagner, Andrews & Kovacs Ltd. since 2009. He is an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute with the AACI, P.App designation.

Extensive experience in completing commercial, industrial, multi-residential, development land and investment property appraisals for purchase/sale, mortgage financing, IFRS, insurance, expropriation, and estate planning. Alex has experience in preparing appraisal reports for arbitration/litigation proceedings and has previously testified as an expert witness. This includes disputes arising over both market rent and the market value of properties.

Chris Adams joined the firm again in 2007 as a partner. Chris has over 25 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience. He is an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute with AACI and P.App Designations.

Industrial, office and retail properties for mortgage financing, fund reporting, IFRS reporting, acquisitions and due diligence, and tax assessment appeals. Extensive experience in the valuation of major investment properties, including manufacturing and warehousing facilities, office buildings, retail plazas and power centres, and the valuation of ‘Green’ properties, including LEED certified properties, and properties with solar panel installations.

Dylan has worked with Wagner Andrews & Kovacs Ltd. since 2012, and is an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute with the AACI, P.App designation.

In the past year, Dylan has appraised approximately $2.5 billion worth of real estate, including industrial, commercial (retail and office), multi-family, and other investment appraisals (both improved properties and vacant land). Appraisal experience includes major investment portfolios, warehouse/manufacturing facilities, industrial malls, office complexes, retail plazas, shopping centres, multi-family apartment complexes, and commercial/residential development land. Consulting assignments include highest and best use studies, market rent analyses, and cash flow analyses.

Brian Wagner started the firm in 1992 with Bruce Andrews. Brian Wagner offers over 40 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience. He is an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute with AACI and P.App Designations.

Land, residential, retail, industrial and office appraisals for the purpose of purchase/sale, capital gains, taxation, partial takings, expropriation, financing and arbitration. Extensive experience in the appraisal of properties where consideration of planning issues and highest and best use analysis were primary requirements in undertaking assignments, which included both partial takings, limited and full interest/sale acquisitions. Qualified as an expert witness before Arbitration Boards, Assessment Review Board and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Bruce Andrews started the firm in 1992 with Brian Wagner. Bruce Andrews offers over 35 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience. He is an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute with AACI and P.App Designations.

Retail, office, industrial and investment property appraisals for the purpose of property purchase/sale, mortgage, expropriation, insurance and capital gains. Extensive experience in the appraisal of major investment properties including office buildings and shopping malls conforming with FIRREA standards. Extensive experience in the valuation of special use and business related real estate including Hotels. Qualified as an expert witness before Arbitration Boards and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Karl Kovacs
BA, AACI, Retired

Karl Kovacs joined the firm as a partner in 1993 with Brian Wagner and Bruce Andrews. Karl Kovacs has offered over 40 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience. He is a retired Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute and is a registered real estate salesperson.

Karl previously worked on residential, retail, industrial and office appraisals for the purpose of purchase/sale, capital gains, taxation, partial takings, expropriation, financing and arbitration. He is currently not active in undertaking appraisals, but act as a general advisor on real estate issues.
